Leave the city behind for a three-day journey through central Mongolia’s granite mountains, open steppe and rolling dunes. Visit the monumental Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, explore the rocky valleys of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, then continue to Elsen Tasarkhai, where sand dunes meet grassland and mountain scenery. Stay one night at a Terelj tourist camp and one night at a ger camp near the dunes. Optional camel or horse riding can be arranged locally for an additional fee.
