Journey from the Gobi’s granite formations, cliffs and dunes to the Orkhon Valley, central Mongolia’s volcanic landscapes and Khovsgol Lake. Visit Ongi Monastery and Kharkhorin, ride horseback in Orkhon Valley, relax at Tsenkher Hot Springs and explore Khorgo Volcano and Great White Lake. Day 6: Visit the Ongi Monastery ruins and learn about their history. Day 7: Explore Kharkhorin, Erdene Zuu Monastery and the museum.
