“We did the full Gobi tour which was amazing. The scenery & wonderful landscapes make the driving distances worth it. Stayed in ger camps, which have basic facilities but are still comfortable. Our driver was brilliant. We covered approx 2000km with 1000km off-road, but the vehicle for 6 (inc driver & guide) was comfortable and we always felt safe. Our guide had great English & was very knowledgeable about Mongolian history. Henry was really responsive & attentive to all our requests both before and during the tour. Nothing was too much trouble & he always maintained a personal touch.”
“We had an incredible experience with Them! Henry crafted a 14-day tour for us (8 people total) and was a wonderful organizer. Everyone on our tour team was highly competent, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, attentive and supportive. Byamba our guide was fluent in English and so caring and joyful; our cook Nandia was super sweet and attentive; and our drivers were skilled experts. We ran into other tourists with different companies and they were all jealous of us. The roads are often rough and you need to be ready for a true adventure and authentic experience of the nomadic lifestyle. If you are, you are in for a trip of a lifetime!”
“We took a seven-day trip to the Gobi Desert starting from Ulaanbaatar. We were filled with magical images and lived unforgettable experiences. The trip was tiring and the kilometers were many, but we really feel that it was 100% worth it. Our driver and tour guide did their best to show us all the beauties of the country. Especially their cooking skills are remarkable. The only thing I would recommend to other travelers is to take their pillow with them, as on some nights the pillows were very hard.”
“Batbad (Henry) helped us organize a 17-day driving trip around Mongolia. He was really responsive & attentive to all our requests both before and during the tour, and helped us with even changing our flight reservations because we missed the connection! Joloo (George) our driver was TOP skilled of all Mongolian roads, he was also very friendly and attentive, we felt safe and comfortable every moment; Tuya our guide was joyful, patient and supportive to our requests, fluent in English, and she explained all of our questions (that were many). She took care of our diet, and she was always interested in sharing culture, traditions and experiences. Our 4x4 was very comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us. We drove more than 3,000km, stayed in nice and very clean gers, travel by horse to more remote regions, met families and shared food and everlasting moments in every corner we visited in Mongolia. Definitely They and their team made our adventure in Mongolia a wonderful experience, 100% recommended!!”
“I joined the 7-day Gobi tour with Them and had a magnificent experience. The scenery was quite stunning, from giant dunes to flaming cliffs and serene valleys. I truly enjoyed in every day of this tour as every day felt like a new discovery. Our guide, Vampy, was fantastic, she was friendly, welcoming, warm, and knowledgeable about the nature and history of this region. The tour was organized by Henry, who was always available, kind, and made everything smooth from start to finish. Staying with nomadic families, enjoying the breathtaking views of sunsets in the desert, and the stunning image of myriad of stars at night above the desert floor made this trip truly memorable. I am deeply grateful to manager Henry for his flawless organization and to our amazing guide Boogii for his kindness, professionalism, and genuine care throughout the journey. My son and I not only explored breathtaking landscapes and immersed ourselves in nomadic culture, but we also made wonderful new friends along the way. Despite my lifelong struggle with milk tea and mutton, every experience felt magical. My son learned to ride a horse like a true Mongolian and, during our stay with a nomadic family, he rode out on horseback to help herd their yaks and even chopped wood for the evening barbecue.
